Network Engineer-

The Network Engineer’s role shall ensure the stability and Integrity of the Client’s in-house voice, data, video and wireless network services, by planning, designing and developing Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) across the organization. The Network Engineer will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support and optimization of all network hardware, software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training where required.

Education & Certification

 University degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and 8 to 12 years of equivalent work experience in an MNC. MCITP, System Center, EPM, Microsoft Exchange and Share Point certifications are mandatory. Any other certifications will add value

Knowledge & Experience

 Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications and related products
 Proven experience with systems planning, security principles and general software management best practices
 Mandatory to be an expert in Microsoft Platforms which includes but not limited to; Share Point, System Center, FIM and Exchange Server
 Mandatory to be an expert in storage systems which includes HP, IBM, Netapp and EMC solutions
 Must be an expert in Shell and Power Shell Scripting and Server Scripting
 Working technical knowledge of current software protocols and internal standards
 Extensive experience with core software applications
 Excellent Software troubleshooting experience
 Working Technical knowledge of programming languages
 Working knowledge of network and PC operating Systems
 Competence with testing, flowchart, data mapping tools and procedures
 Excellent understanding of the company’s goals and objectives
 Knowledge of applicable data practices and laws

 Ability to conduct research into system issues and products as required
 Ability to communicate ideas in technical and user friendly language
 Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
 Proven analytical and problem solving abilities

 Strong customer service orientation
 Ability to work in a team oriented, collaborative environment
